Re: [E-Z-Caps] measuring alcohol % - yahoo - 04-06-2005 Unfortunately you can't easily measure the amount of alcohol afterthe beverage is brewed. To measure alcohol content you take a reading witha hydrometer before fermentation and again after fermentation. Thedifference between the 2 is the alcohol content. If you give me a roughestimate of what you fermented, the time it fermented, and how much sugar(if any) you added I can *attempt* to *guess* an *approximate* alcoholpercentage. At 09:15 PM 4/6/2005 +0000, you wrote:>hi, i'm new to all this, made my 1st batches with apple juice and>welch's grape. turned out ok, seems to have fermented. what is the>best way to measure the alcohol % once it is ready???>>>>>>>>Yahoo!
