question about cider - ezcaps_phpbb3_import2 - 03-14-2010 Q: Hello, I just made my first batch of cider and it turned out a bit sulfery. I used organic apple juice and 1 cup of brown sugar. I tasted it at 3.5 days and it was good, but a little sweet. I let it go one more half a day and it got sulfery. It was at 70 degrees during the entire process. Any suggestions? A: I've never had a drink turn out sulfery before- I'm wondering if it seems sulfery on the palate if it's too dry? You said the juice was organic which is not a problem, was it pasteurized? |
