I had a problem with one batch I made. I think it either got toowarm, had too much yeast, or too much sugar. Anyways the ez capbulged and split, and the co2 was violently leaking out the top, andwhen the liquid bubbled up, it started coming out of the center ofthe ez cap too. Luckily i was able to plug it up and get it outsidebefore it got all over the place. And it had only been 24 hourssince I started it. I thought the ez cap was supposed to vent theco2, so why would this happen? It says in the directions it isnormal to look bulged out and split, but mine actually cracked ahole in it. I'm a little confused because I have read posts aboutletting excess co2 out of the bottle. When should you let excess co2out?The wines that I have enjoyed have no carbonation. How do you make anon-carbonated beverage with ez caps? Thanks for help ORGINAL POSTER: tiffany
