My house is generally too cold to brew so I've put together a little brewing box but the box is holding at a steady 88 degrees. The instructions call for 75- 80. Will that extra eight be too much or slow the rate at all?

Has anybody tried using ez caps on pet bottles to make ginger ale instead of using the more expensive non reuseable screw on caps?

I found this on the web. It uses 2 liter bottles to make Root Beer. Doen't use an easy cap though and it uses bakers yeast (wonder if the EZ cap yeast would work better though) and wonder if using an EZ cap would be better too.

Also awaiting the beer kits.

I need a youtube video for promoting EZ Caps. A short "commercial". My own video production talents are lacking and I thought that maybe the EZ Caps user community might have some talent I can tap into.
Make and upload a short EZ Caps video to youtube. The video should show how easy it is to make wine, beer, etc at home with EZ Caps in just a couple of steps. Use your imagination. Message me the link.
First Prize: A 6-gallon EZ Cap beer kit and two regular EZ Caps kits.
Second Prize: Two EZ Caps kits.
Third Prize: One EZ Caps kit.
All other entries: Free EZ Caps yeast.
The contest is "unofficial" and has no set end date but the plan is to pick the winners quickly. By entering you are also agreeing that the video you create becomes the exclusive property of EZ Caps.

I started my first batch on 4/8 and it was Very active for the first 4 days. Now however it appears to have completely stopped and is starting to clear. Should it now be shaken and placed in the fridge or is there a specific reason for letting it sit the full 10 days? It has been in the 60's & 70's for most of the time.
Thanks!
